Community Home Solutions assists homebuyers looking to purchase homes in targeted neighborhoods in the city of Bay City.  We have programs available offering several levels of down payment assistance and rehabilitation.

Pre-purchase Counseling:
These sessions aren't for the faint of heart!  Pre-purchase Counseling is  for those interested in buying a home but aren't quite prepared financially to purchase immediately.  Our counselors will work with you on all aspects of financial management to boost your credit, balance your budget and prepare you for homeownership.  The key to successfully completing this program is personal motivation and the drive to own your own home.  

Financial Literacy / Capabilities:
These classes are designed to increase your financial knowledge and skills.  They motivate positive changes in financial behavior over time to build and preserve your assets over a lifetime.  Whether you are planning to purchase a home, save for educational expenses or retirement – good money management is an important first step.
